Workshop Review:

Sitting down and writing about a unique/fascinating/amazing photographer's workshop is truly not a easy thing to do when there is so much to say.  The best words I can use to describe myself after 2 days with Sabine Brandt of Living Dreams Photography's workshop are 'transformed & inspired'.

I came home and looked at my portfolio to find so many things I wish I knew before this workshop. Sabine truly focuses on ensuring every detail is not overlooked. Her attention to every detail is a reflection of her art. Sabine is mentoring her workshop attendees every step from the moment you arrive and depart her studio. She's very involved both days and on the second day where you are hands on baby, Sabine was right there with me every step.  She didn't take an eye off of what I was doing to ensure I was not only learning, but truly understanding everything I was doing from soothing, safety & posing each newborn.

Sabine loves what she does and never gives anything less than 100% during her workshop. She's genuine and wants her photographer attendees to succeed.

V/r,

Tara Hall

In the future when I'm looking back at "what made my business work"....the number one thing on that list will be attending Sabine's newborn mentoring workshop. I cannot express enough how much I was able to absorb in just a couple of days of working with her. She is professional, safe with the babies, meticulous about getting the perfect pose, and an open book when it comes to her mentoring. I personally left such a sense of confidence in how I will run a newborn session and insight into how to deal with parents, editing, and the business side of things. An added bonus is she is just such a kind person. She wants you to be successful and is open to answering future questions. I'm glad to know her in the professional sense and as a friend in general. I'm so excited about moving my business forward.

“Working with Sabine with Living Dreams Photography was an incredible opportunity and investment. Her talent and teaching abilities are top notch. She provided one-on- one attention with constructive feedback to give me the confidence to go home and practice what I learned. She cares so much about her student’s success that she has created a facebook group just for her students. She is committed to continue to mentor us, which is invaluable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sabine and her workshops. I appreciate her willingness to teach her gift.”

Loved learning from Sabine! She is so talented & such a great teacher. If you are thinking of mentoring with her you wont regret it, I promise!!

These testimonies are truly a perfect description of the experience you will have while attending a workshop with Sabine - Living Dreams Photography.

I was fortunate enough to have a 1:1 on mentoring session. This was en eye opening experience for me. Being there, seeing, and doing things myself was an invaluable learning experience that you just can't get from watching those live broadcasts or other newborn videos.

Sabine is a perfectionist which is reflected in her work. Her posing workflow is seamless and she made everything look so easy. I came home with a baby scheduled a week later and was able to to the majority of the poses I learned on my own. She is truly an inspiration and I think she does the best work I've ever seen out there.

If you photograph newborns, you should really take a workshop, period. After taking her workshop, I wanted to start my own newborn portfolio over and delete most of my images. My second newborn session went even better. Sabine gave me the confidence I was missing. From handling the babies to soothing them, I learned so much in the two days I spent with her.

After the workshop, she still continues to answer questions and provide critiques on images. You will not regret this investment. The studio name of Living Dreams Photography has a whole new meaning to me after I attended the workshop. I just wish I did this sooner!!!

Torri Howard - I attended a mentoring session with Sabine in her studio. I have been a big admirer of her work and was excited to find she offered mentoring to other photographers. From the moment I walked into her spacious studio I felt comfortable and she was very welcoming. Another photographer was also participating in the 2 day mentoring and Sabine had 3 babies lined up for us the first day including a set of twins. She showed us her workflow and answered all our questions along the way. She made sure she took the time to ask us what we wanted to work on and made sure she incorporated our requests. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. She even provided lunch a refreshments. The 2nd day was completely hands on. Each of us mentoring got to work with a scheduled newborn walking through the workflow from beginning to end with Sabine right next to us answering our questions along the way and providing guidance when needed. It was a great experience. The cost of the mentoring session was extremely reasonable and I really liked that it was just a couple of us learning which allowed for lots of questions and hands on time. This was my 3rd mentoring/workshop I have attended over the last 3 years and I felt I got the most out of Sabine's. If you are a new photographer or one like me with a couple of years experience under my belt but needed to work on fine tuning some things, I highly recommend you invest in your business and yourself and take a mentoring session from Sabine if you have the opportunity. You will definitely be glad you did.
LORENA ANGARITA - buenas noches, quisiera saber si el workshop esta disponible en idioma español? Gracias
Laurie Van Allen Kerr - Whether you are a seasoned photographer or just getting started, this is the workshop for you. I learned so many techniques and tips to use in my business. I love the hands on because just watching I don't think it is the same. Sabine is patient, fun, down to earth, and full of knowledge. I flew down apprehensively, wondering if it would be worth it and I flew back totally inspired and wish I would have known of this workshop sooner, because I believe what I learned will make my business soar. I believe I can now improve my sessions and increase my business. Thanks Sabine!
